BASILDON Town came from two goals down to force a penalty shoot-out in their FA Vase First Round match at Buckhurst Hill, but they eventually lost out on spot kicks to end a memorable cup journey.

After Town keeper Matt Knight had saved a 14th minute penalty, Hassan Nalbant (23 minutes) and Nathan Sollosi (36) put Hill firmly in the driving seat.

But a second half comeback was sparked by Grant Cumming's 57th minute goal and Marcus Bowers got Town on level terms with two minutes to go.

There was also time for the visitors to create one last chance to win, but they were unable to take it and so the match went to penalies which Buckhurst Hill won 5-3.
