POLICE are appealing for information about an incident where a woman was abused in Wickford.

It is beleived to have happened in London Road at the junction with Nevendon Road, going from Golden Jubilee Way towards Billericay, at around 7.30pm on Friday, 16 December.

It was reported a woman got out of a small hatchback van and punched the window of another vehicle and shouted abuse at the person inside.
