POLICE are hoping there will be a public response after renewing publicity following an incident last year in which a young girl was assaulted.

Officers investigating an incident where a man approached a girl and kissed her unsolicited have released an efit of a man they want to speak to.

It was reported a man approached a 12 year-old girl on a bus in Uppermayne, Basildon on 18 November kissed on her the cheek and grabbed her hands.
