AN event will take pl;ace shortly to celebrate the opening of a dessert outlet in Basildon.

Kaspas Desserts opened its doors on 27 October at 25 East Walk within the East Square development in Basildon Town centre, creating 10 new jobs in the process.

Later this month the venue will hold an official launch event.

It will take place on Saturday, 14 January between 12 noon and 4pm, when there will be offers in store.

Haroon, franchisee of the Basildon store said: "We are really excited about the Grand Launch for our Basildon store. At Kaspas Desserts, our mission is to create an environment where enjoying authentic desserts with family and friends is an unforgettable experience.

"We can't wait for customers to have one of those experiences at this grand launch and we hope to provide many more great experiences through 2023 and beyond."
