Mother and daughter charged with supplying drugs

A MOTHER and daughter from Basildon have been charged with supplying drugs.
Keani Hobbs, 22, and Melanie Hobbs, 42, both of Eastbrooks Place, in Pitsea, have been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug (cocaine) and conspiracy to produce a Class B drug (cannabis).
As part of the investigation, Jack Pollard, 18, of Wicklow Walk, in Shoeburyness, is also charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
The trio appeared in Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 11 September.
No pleas were entered and they are all due appear at Basildon Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 11 October.
Melanie Hobbs was remanded into custody while Keani Hobbs and Pollard were released on conditional bail.
