POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Wickford yesterday evening (Sunday, 29 January). 

Officers were called to Golden Jubilee Way near the roundabout on Runwell Road in Wickford at 7.13pm following reports of a single motorcycle collision.  

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

The road remained closed for several hours but reopened around midnight.
