Role Description
We are seeking a full-time remote Business Development Manager, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The Business Development Manager will work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure client satisfaction. They will be responsible for driving business growth by securing new business opportunities and developing customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development: A candidate must possess excellent sales and business development skills to identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Transportation and Logistics: The candidate should have a good understanding of transportation and logistics operations in order to work collaboratively with operations teams.
- Communication Skills: A candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Negotiation Skills: The candidate should have good negotiation skills to secure new business opportunities.
- Creative Thinking: A candidate should be able to think creatively to identify innovative solutions for logistics challenges.
- Self-Starter: The candidate should be a self-starter who is motivated to work independently.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in sales, business development, or transportation and logistics is required. Experience in the freight forwarding industry is a plus.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
