Youngsters on a march of remembrance

YOUNG peopole in Basildon marked the D-Day commemoration with a local event.

Basildon Twinning Association supported young people as they held a sponsored walk from Northlands Park to The Green Centre led by a piper to commemorate those men that lost their lives on the beaches in Normandy on D-Day.

When they arrives at the Green Centre there was a model of Pegasus Bridge on show and all had tea and biscuits
