TWO women were held by police today (Saturday, 19 November) as enquiries continued into an incident at Basildon's Festival Leisure Park in the early hours of the morning.

The women – aged 22 and 23 - were arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent following an assault at Unit 7, Festival Leisure Park at around 1.40am,

Police attended and found a teenage woman had sustained a head wound requiring hospital treatment after she was struck on the head with an unknown item.
