When the Queen visited Basildon and the bells rang out
AMID the sadness in Basildon this evening following the announcement of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, members of St Martin's Church have remembered the Queen's visit, in 1999 when she opened the world's first belltower in the heart of the town in St Martin's Square.
