ANOTHER Basildon town centre shop is to close.
Basildon Town Square's Poundland store will close on Saturday, 29 May with the company saying: "We're sad to be closing our store because the lease has expired, but we'll still be offering customers amazing value at the nearby Eastgate Centre and at Old Market Retail Park in Pitsea.
"Where we close a store, it goes without saying we always work hard to look after colleagues directly affected."
