Third arrest of a young person after incident involving knives

A THIRD teenager has been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in Pitsea.

A number of people were reported to have entered a property in Lichfield while armed with knives on Monday of last week (12 December).

The following day two teenagers – an 18 year-old man and a 16 year-old boy – were arrested as part of this investigation and one into nine burglaries in the Basildon area during which vehicles were also taken.

Yesterday (Wednesday 21 December) a 17 year-old boy was located and arrested on suspicion of burglary following work by officers from the Basildon Local Policing Team.
