POLICE are seeking help to find an elderly missing man from Basildon.

Eric Woodruff hasn't been seen by family since just prior to midnight on Wednesday, 31 May.

A police statement says:"We're concerned about Eric and we want to make sure he's okay and bring him home."

The 85-year-old is described as 5ft 6ins of average build and wears glasses. He also has tattoos on his forearms. He was last seen wearing a dark green sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Eric may be using a train from central London to get home after he visited Kingston upon Thames earlier today, but has not arrived home.
