Police probe collision

POLICE are investigating a collision in Billericay where a cyclist sustained serious injuries.
It was reported a car and a bike were in collision in Southend Road, at the junction with Outwood Common, at around 6.30am on Saturday (6 January).
The car – a Peugeot – failed to stop at the scene while the cyclist was left with multiple fractures.
A police statement says: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 187 of 6 January.
