POLICE have appealed for witnesses and information following a crash involving a lorry in Basildon yesterday (Friday, 13 January).

It happened at 7.45pm last night in the outside lane of the London bound A127 just prior to the 'Fortune of war' roundabout at Laindon where an HGV collided with the rear of a grey Skoda Karoq SUV.

Police ask anyone with information to call 101, saying: "If you saw anything or have dashcam please let us know - quote incident number Ep-20230113-1144."
