Leader promises openness and transparency as borough grows

IN the first of a promised series of video briefings for residents, the new Conservative leader of Basildon Council has said the authority plans to be as open and transparent as it can be.
Cllr Andrew Baggott says the council is planning to grow the economy of the borough and will be providing much needed infrastructure.
