Do you know this woman? Police are hoping for help to identify her after dog attack

POLICE are calling on the help of the public as they continue to search for a woman in connection with a dog attack.

After issuing a CCTV picture, Essex Police say: "Do you recognise this woman? We would like to speak to her in connection with our investigation into an incident in which a man was bitten by a dog.

"At around 11.30am on Thursday, 6 January a dog, possibly a staff or mastiff-type dog, was tied up outside a shop in Clay Hill Road, Basildon. As a man walked past, the dog bit his arm.

"If you recognise the woman, please contact us.

"If you have any information you can submit a report online via this link where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm. Please quote 42/4350/22.
