BASILDON'S Towngate Theatre is really buzzing following the return to live performances after the Covid-19 lockdown and they have a wide range of entertainment coming up in September.

Over the next few weeks, the theatre will be welcoming the following productions:

Neil Sands, Bringing Back The Good Times, Monday 13 September @ 2.30pm: Neil Sands and his West End cast are back with favourite songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Along with a grateful thanks to the NHS and a heartwarming tribute to Dame Vera Lynn.

Whitney: Queen of the Night, Thursday 16 September @ 7.30pm: A stunning celebration of the music and life of Whitney Houston, one of the greatest singers of our time. Starring the sensational Elesha Paul Moses (What's Love Got To Do With It?, The Voice, The X Factor) in the title role, supported by a stunning live band.

All Singing! All Swinging!, Friday 17 September @ 7.30pm: Starring X Factor finalist Ray Quinn, Singer, Actor and Reality TV star, Shane Nolan and Nick James from the West End's Thriller Live. Featuring all the greatest hits of Sammy Davis Jnr, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and many more timeless classics from the stars of Swing and Rat Pack

The World Famous Dreamboys, Thursday 23 September @ 7.30pm: Scream if you are ready to misbehave, because Dreamboys are coming to Basildon with their Too Hard To Resist UK Tour! This West End style show has been created for all ages from 18 to 80; whether you are celebrating something special or just fancy embracing your inner flirt for a cheeky night out on the town. Suitable for ages 18+

UK Pink Floyd Experience Friday 24 September @ 7.30pm: Celebrating over 50 years of one of rock music's most influential bands, UK Pink Floyd Experience recreate the sights and sounds of the legendary band in concert. Come and share the passion for Pink Floyd's music as they tackle the classic songs including Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Another Brick In The Wall and Comfortably Numb.

Luther UK, Thursday 30 September @ 7.30pm: The World's premier show in celebration of Luther Vandross, 'The Velvet Voice' - experience all the hits from his amazing career, fronted by international tribute Harry Cambridge and his 10 piece band
