POLICE officers investigating an indecent exposure offence on-board a train travelling from Basildon to London have released images in connection with the incident.

At just after 2pm on Monday, 1 March, the victim boarded a service at Basildon railway station and took a seat. A man then sat on a seat in the adjacent aisle and a short while later exposed himself before touching himself inappropriately.

The victim then challenged his behaviour and he stopped before walking through the carriage and disembarking the train at West Horndon rail station.

Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any information, you are asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100012988. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
