Join Our Team as a Site Supervisor in Essex

Are you ready to take charge and make a difference in the waste management industry? Our client, operating a number of liquid waste recycling centres, is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor for their established site in South Essex.

About the Role: As a Site Supervisor, you'll oversee the operation of the Waste Treatment Centre, ensuring compliant and efficient handling of liquid waste. Your responsibilities will include supervising waste reception, confirming treatment suitability, and maintaining site operations and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the waste treatment centre and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and ISO procedures.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement site improvements.

Key Skills Required:

  • Ideally CIWM (WAMITAB) COTC LEVEL 4 qualified or willingness to achieve this.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in environmental or waste management.
  • Knowledge of waste management regulations and processes.
  • Background in chemistry/environmental science preferred.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic process and mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database applications.
