Youngsters sought after shoplifting sprees

ESSEX Police have released a picture of a group of young people they wish to trace in conncetions with sholifting sprees at Boots stores in Basildon and Southend.

A statement from the force says: "We want to speak to these five people in connection with thefts from Boots stores in Southend and Basildon.

"More than £18,000 worth of beauty products were stolen during three incidents at stores in The Royals Shopping Centre, Southend and Town Square, Basildon on 3 and 21 July.

"If you recognise those pictured we need you to contact us. Please quote the crime reference number 42/173561/22.

"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm.
