WORKS have started this week on the Felmores Estate as part of Basildon Council's Safe and Sound Estates programme.

Teams of council staff and contractors have been in the area completing work including de-weeding, trimming hedges, and giving the area a general clean.

To mark the work and improvement to the area a free family fun day will be taking place next Wednesday between 11am – 3pm, for residents on the estate to enjoy inflatable fun, face painting, and more – taking place on the green area in Parkside.
