What's On This Weekend in Basildon features plenty of musical choice.

On Saturday 15 April two of the biggest soul music events come together to bring you this fantastic 70's 80's 90's soul/disco all dayer for the over 40's at the Holiday Inn hotel in Basildon.

DJs include Des Grant from the Butlins soul weekender and Darren Bull from Soultasia/Zero Radio, Tony Fernandez from Essex soul party and Craigy Mac from Love Town.

They will be joined by others for ten hours of soul/disco anthems from 4pm until 2am.

Tickets are £15 each.

This is a strictly ticket and over 40's event only.

There's music from a different era at the Towngate Theatre on the same evening when the Little Mix Show 'Woman Like Me' comes to town.

The Towngate also stages three performances by Performer's College Junior of their music presentation, Legends.
