BILLERICAY Post Office is to move to a new location in November - 103C High Street (formerly Colebys Jewellers), Billericay, CM12 9AJ.

The premises are currently empty and will be refurbished into a Post Office and store selling cards and stationery. It is due to open on Monday 4 November at 1pm.

The current operator for Billericay Post Office has resigned and the premises at 93-95 High Street, Billericay, CM12 9AS will be withdrawn for Post Office on Saturday, 2 November at 12.30pm.

We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to confirm that a new operator has been appointed, who has identified an alternative location to operate Billericay Post Office at a new store. This will maintain Post Office service to the community.

Billericay will continue to operate as a main style Post Office offering a wide range of Post Office services. where it will continue to operate as one of our main style branches

Post Office opening hours will be: Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm. This will provide 54 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

Anthony Bailey, Post Office Area Change Manager, said: "We are delighted to be relocating Billericay Post Office to maintain service as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. The branch's opening hours will make it convenient for customers to visit."

We are keen to restore this branch to the area as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans. The same products and services will be available.

The opportunity to give feedback on access into within the premises will close on 15 October. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 103104.
