Teenager to face court after incident in Basildon

A TEENAGER will appear in court tomorrow to face a charge of robbery.
The charges relate to an incident alleged to have taken place in Basildon on Friday, 9 December.
The 17-year-old, from Basildon, will appear at Southend Magistrates' Court on Monday, 12 December to face a charge of robbery and possessing a knife.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of his appearance.
Three teenagers - aged 18, 19 and 16 - also arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
