Talks to prevent rail strike fail

RAIL strikes planned for tomorrow (Tuesday, 20 June) are to go ahead, causing severed disruption.
Last ditch talks to prevent the strikes today have failed to make headway the RMT union says.
A three-day walkout - on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - is expected to cause disruption across the week on both Greater Anglia and c2c services and a strike will also take place on the London Underground tomorrow, with effects felt into Wednesday morning.
