WHILE power company workers were still repairing the aftermath of this morning's crash in Pitsea that saw a car overturn, a second accident happened nearby when a lorry hit a bridge.

The early morning crash on the A13 and A132 had caused disruption which was added to when the lorry hit the rail bridge which passes over the B1464 near to the Tesco superstore.

The crash caused problems for rail services as all trains using the c2c network, which uses the bridge have had to run at slower speeds. The disruption was expected to run into this afternoon at the earliest.
