RESIDENTS in Pitsea are being invited to take part in a survey to find out what the local community needs most.

Heart of Pitsea is a community group of local resident volunteers funded by the National Lottery as part of its Big Local project.

The group is completely independent but has links with and receives support from organisations including Basildon Council, NHS Basildon and Brentwood Clinical Commissioning Group, Essex Youth Services and the Basildon, Billericay and Wickford Council for Voluntary Services.

In 2013 and 2017 the Heart of Pitsea conducted a survey which asked residents what improvements they would like to see in the area.

The responses to these questions helped shape its aims and objectives for the future.

Now the group is organising a third survey to see if there is any shift in priorities and themes.

Residents are invited to take the survey via this link.

You can find out more about Heart of Pitsea on their webpage here or their Facebook page.
