Remembrance in the round

REMEMRNACE was to the fore in Wickford where The Friends of the Wickford Memorial Park installed a knitted poppy display around the Beacon and plastic poppies around the Remembrance Avenue Trees and the Civilians Garden Trees.

There were 28 volunteers and 10 children from Wickford Church of England School helping to install flags and crosses too.

These were supplied by the Royal British Legion and the Wickford War Memorial Association.
