POLICE officers investigating a shop theft in Basildon are asking for the public's help.

A statement from Essex Police says: "We want to speak to the women in the image as part of our investigation into a shop theft at Tesco, Mayflower Retail Park that occurred between 5.30 and 6.05pm on 11 September in which over £2,000 worth of beauty items were taken.

"If you know who the women are, or have any information, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"Please quote crime reference 42/139164/24 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.
