A TRIP out this evening proved a fatal mistake for a rogue driver in Pitsea.

Officers from Operation Sceptre, which tackles serious violence, particularly knife crime, were out and about and spotted a suspicious vehicle.

The driver did not have insurance fso the vehicle was seized, with officers taking to social media to say: "Another driver without insurance so another driver with nothing to drive. Vehicle seized and taken to the pound."
