Police seek information about pub brawl

POLICE are appealing for information following an altercation involving two groups of people at the Beehive pub in Basildon.

It happened at the pub in Southernhay at around 2.30pm on Sunday, 12 June when it was reported one person sustained a significant injury.

Three men – aged 30, 37, and 60 – have been arrested on suspicion of affray. A fourth man, aged 29, has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and affray.

All four have been released under investigation while police enquiries continue and an Essex force statement says: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.
