Police seek help after arrest of man suspected of indecent exposure

POLICE officers in Basildon have called for the help of the public after arresting a man.

Officers from Basildon's Community Policing Team have made an arrest as part of an investigation into reports of a man indecently exposing himself in Laindon.

A statement from the force says: "We are investigating four incidents reported to us in the Mandeville Way and Stebbings areas between 11 November and 13 December.

"Today (Monday, 13 December), a 22 year-old man from Langdon Hills was arrested on suspicion of exposure and outraging public decency.

"He is currently in custody.

"We are need anyone who has any information about these incidents to contact us.
