Police probe incident in which man was left with injuries after street attack

POLICE are investigating after a man was found injured in a street in Pitsea on Tuesday, 4 August.
Officers were called to Rectory Park Drive shortly before 7.50pm and found a man had sustained injuries to his face, head and torso and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
A statement from Essex Police says: "We are investigating the circumstances around the incident and we believe he was the victim of an assault.
"No arrests have been made and our enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area around the time of the incident or who has Ring doorbell footage of the street is asked to submit a report online at her where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.
"You can also call us on 101 and cite incident 1165 of August 3.
"Information can also be given to charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
