Police probe Basildon fire

POLICE are appealing for information following a fire in Basildon.
Officers were called by the fire service shortly after 6am today (Wednesday, 25 October) who reported a fire in Elizabeth Way.
It's believed the fire itself had been started shortly before 5.15am.
A police statement says: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 142 of 25 October.
