Police plea after burglary

POLICE officers investigating a burglary in Basildon this week are appealing for the public's help with their enquiries.

Officers were called to the address on Great Knightleys, close to Laindon Link at around 3pm on Tuesday, 16 January following reports of a residential burglary.

The victim returned home to find her house had been broken into. Enquiries are ongoing to determine what has been taken.

Investigating officers from Basildon Criminal Investigation Department are appealing to anyone who was in the area at that time and may have seen anything, or have any CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them quoting reference number 42/8457/24.
