Police issue pictures and seek ID of man connected to home raid

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in Wickford.

The incident took place on 19 February in Wick Lane, when two men smashed a back door and gained entry to a home. During the incident, a number of items of jewellery were taken alongside a quantity of cash.

The men are both white, aged in their late teens or early 20s, of slim build and with short, dark hair. 

Police believe they arrived in the area in a light blue or silver Alfa Romeo car and left in the direction on Southend Road. 

The first man was wearing a black Nike jacket, dark trousers and black Nike trainers. He was also wearing an Under Armour baseball cap. The second man was wearing a dark coloured top, trousers, and trainers. He was also wearing a baseball cap. 

Police have asked anyone who can identify the man pictured to contact them immediately on 101 and quote crime reference 42/44055/22. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
