DETECTIVES investigating an assault at a pub in Laindon are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. 

Officers were called to the Four Seasons Pub, in Victoria Road, at around 10pm on Friday, 2 August. 

It was reported the victim, a man, had been struck over the head with a glass bottle. 

The incident occurred inside the pub by the pool table.
