Police confirm death of man in Botney Hill crash

POLICE have confirmed the death of a man, following a collision in Billericay on Saturday, 27 July. 

Officers were called to Botney Hill Road shortly before 8am on Saturday, 27 July following reports of a collision involving a motorbike and a car. 

The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Billericay was pronounced dead at the scene.  His family are aware. 

Officers in the Essex Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 7:30am and 8am on Saturday, 27 July to contact Essex Police with any information or dashcam footage.
