Police appeal for witnesses and info after man is stabbed

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Basildon.

Officers were called to Eastgate shopping centre car park in Southernhay shortly after 3.45pm yesterday (Friday, 10 December). A man in his 20s was found with a stab wound and was taken to hospital where his condition was said to be 'stable'.

Police have asked that anyone who witnessed the incident call 101, citing incident 795 of December 10. You can also submit a report online via this link where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.
