ON Saturday, 31 August Billericay Dental Care threw open its doors to celebrate the grand opening of its newly expanded and modernized practice, marking an important milestone for our local community.

The event brought residents, patients, and the dedicated team at Billericay Dental Care together for a day full of fun, education, and top-notch dental care.

Leading the charge was Dr Sheena Tanna, the head dentist at Billericay Dental Care, who highlighted the practice's deep commitment to serving the community. In a time when getting access to dental care in the UK can be tough the team is stepping up to the challenge by doubling their capacity, making it easier for more people to get the care they need.

The newly created rooms are not only spacious but come equipped with cutting-edge 3D imaging technology, ensuring every patient gets the best possible care. And with dental checkups starting at just £49.00, Billericay Dental Care is making sure that good oral health is within everyone's reach.

Dr Tanna also spoke passionately about the importance of supporting the local community, especially when it comes to raising awareness about oral cancer. Early detection is key, and with delays in diagnosis due to COVID-19, the practice is on a mission to remind everyone just how crucial regular checkups are. It was truly inspiring to see the whole team get involved in a charity fundraiser, walking to raise money for oral cancer – a cause that clearly means a lot to them.

The day's festivities included a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Richard Holden, MP for Basildon and Billericay.

Mr Holden had high praise for the practice, commending their dedication to excellent dentistry and their role in supporting the local community. He was especially impressed with the practice's commitment to providing job opportunities, with three apprentices currently in training and aiming for careers in management, hygiene, and therapy. It's clear that Billericay Dental Care isn't just about fixing teeth – they're about building futures too.

The grand opening wasn't just about speeches and ceremonies, though. It was a true community event with something for everyone.

A friendly Tooth Fairy was on hand to educate children about oral health, helping to ease their fears about visiting the dentist. Meanwhile, the entire community enjoyed free access to dental advice, giveaways, competitions, and even some coffee and music to keep the vibe lively and fun.

With a team of knowledgeable dentists who specialize in everything from root canals to teeth straightening, and hygienists dedicated to keeping your smile bright, Billericay Dental Care is offering comprehensive care all under one roof. It's a fantastic achievement for the practice and a huge benefit for everyone in Billericay.

The grand opening was a resounding success, marking the start of a new chapter in high-quality, family-friendly dental care for our community. Billericay Dental Care is here not just to treat, but to educate and prevent, ensuring brighter smiles for all.
