MP tours constituency to get up close and personal with residents

RECENTLY-elected MP for Basildon and Billericay, Richard Holden, has completed his first constituency wide surgery tour, hosting drop-in surgeries for residents at venues the area.

With Parliament in recess, Richard took the opportunity to hold drop-in surgeries at community centres and village halls across Basildon, Billericay and the surrounding villages.

He also visited businesses, schools and community groups, delivering on his promise to make himself available to residents.

Mr Holden said: ""The more people across Basildon and Billericay I can meet, the more conversations I can have, the better I can represent residents.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed getting out and around the constituency the last few days and I'm planning further such constituency-wide tours in the months ahead.

"Residents can of course contact me at any time to arrange formal meetings and my high street office will be opening next month."
