A GROUP of men have been charged a number of offences following the execution of warrants in Wickford yesterday (11 August). 

A police statement says: "We carried out warrants at three different addresses yesterday as part of our ongoing work to tackle drug related and firearms related criminality.

"The following individuals have been charged with varying drug-related offences.

• Albert Anderson, 21 of London Road, Wickford
• Johns Anderson, 55 of Sandon Court, Basildon
• Mason Peckham, 21 of Riverside Walk, Wickford
• Elliot Deprose, 28 of Alicia Avenue, Wickford

"A 24-year-old woman from Basildon was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. She has since been released on bail."

Those that have been charged are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court tomorrow (13 August).
