Man was attacked by teenage gang. Police appeal for information

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Basildon.

It was reported a man in his 50s was attacked by a group of people described as teenagers in Little Lullaway, opposite the junction with Long Lynderswood, at around 10.30pm on 3 April.

He was struck to the back of the head by what is believed to have been a piece of wood and sustained swelling to the back of his head.
