Man wanted after incidents in which women were approached

POLICE are looking to identify the man pictured in connection with two incidents in Basildon yesterday which, at this stage, are being linked.

At around 2pm yesterday (Friday, 6 February) in the Broadhurst Place area, a woman reported being followed by a man who then made inappropriate comments to her.

Then, about 5.40pm in the Wickhay area, a woman reported a man had approached her from behind and grabbed her.

Officers have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the areas.

If you recognise him or have any information about who or where he is policed have asked you to call them on 101 quoting incident 657 or 981 of 5 February or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
