Man threatened boy then stole from him

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Basildon when a 14-year-old boy was threatened by a man.
The youngster was approached by the man at the junction of Laindon Link with Great Knightleys, at around 11pm on Monday, 26 April.
The man, described to police as around 20 years-old, 6ft tall, slim with slightly curly hair and wearing a yellow high viz vest, demanded the buy hand over his belongings and then threatened the boy.
A police statement says: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any dash cam, CCTV, or door bell footage to contact us."
