Health board top brass can be quizzed by public

RESIDENTS in Basildon will get the chance to quiz the top brass of one of the levels of health care provision across the region.
NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board is a layer of administration created by the government to 'join up' the services delivered by the National health service.
It will hold its next board meeting on Thursday, 11 July. This will be hosted from 2pm to 3.30pm in Committee Room 4A, Southend Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6ER.
The board meetings are held in public, and members of the public are welcome to attend and listen. Residents will be able to find out more about how NHS Mid and South Essex is governed and how they make their decisions.
Anyone who would like to attend should register on the NHS Mid and South Essex Board meeting webpage: ICB Board Meeting - July 2024. Residents can attend to observe the meeting but cannot talk or ask questions.
Members of the public will have an opportunity to submit questions beforehand that NHS Mid and South Essex will endeavour to answer during the meeting. Where appropriate, any questions not answered will be responded to separately outside of the meeting.
