BASILDON Council Garden Waste will implement its six week winter break in the collection of garden waste from Monday, 4 December to Friday, 12 January, with collections starting again on Monday, 15 January.

From Monday 15 January, the council will be ready to collect real Christmas trees for recycling.

The council will shred them and turn them into compost. You don't need a garden waste subscription for us to collect your tree.
