Four arrests follow drug raids

FOUR men have been charged, a firearm, cash, and tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs have been seized during warrants by Essex Police's Disruptor team.

Officers carried out the warrants at a number of locations in Basildon yesterday (Tuesday 27 July). During the operation they seized a firearm, a four figure-sum of cash, and cocaine and cannabis with a street value of £200,000.

Four men were arrested and have now been charged.

Mario Tsorri, 28, of Norwood End, Basildon has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, possessing ammunition for a firearm, and a possession of firearm offence.

The other three men – 23 year-old Alfonc Palaj and 31 year-old Emanuel Rossi, both of Norwood End, and Klodjan Doci, 26, of Courtney Park Road, Langdon Hills – have all been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

Rossi was due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday 28 July) while the other three are all due to appear at the same court tomorrow (Thursday 29 July).
