Confirmation of links with local community

OFFICERS from Laindon & Basildon Community Policing Team attended a special Coffee with Cops event hosted at St Nicholas Church, Laindon.
Twenty-one young people received confirmation from Fr Andrie Patrine and The Right Reverend Dr. John Perumbalath Bishop of Bradwell, Diocese of Chelmsford.
After the ceremony PCSOs Brady and PCSO Nice were on hand to answer questions about local issues and concerns in the community over a cup of tea and cake.
The duo said: "Thank you to all the families who made us part of their children's big day."
